Emotionally Overwhelmed

to Emotionally Grounded

Hi! I'm Brandys

Many years ago, I found myself volunteering at the Vancouver Suicide Risk and Prevention Center as a Crisis Counsellor. Here, I listened to people in the deepest levels of pain. I heard their stories and I felt their heart. I had many people ask if I was a counsellor and how could they find me to access my services outside of my work volunteering.

At that point, I had never heard of a counsellor. I just loved helping people and somehow, the “Vancouver Crisis Line”, as it is nicknamed, jumped out at me from the Yellow Pages (that long ago!!). I spent the next 5 years helping and listening to the heart and soul of many, many suffering individuals.

Little did I know that my own life was about to explode with great trauma, pain and anguish. I was being prepared.

I knew that I needed to position myself to be credible to help others. To have the tools, knowledge and capacity to extend the reach of my “gift” to listen and help others to feel heard, understood, and cared for.

So, while I was raising my two children alone, I put myself through 6 years of school, so I could be here to help you!

I offer a complimentary 15 minute consultation so you can get a sense of what it would be like to work with me, and if we are a good fit. My work includes helping you to be comfortable with you, to find your voice, to hear your voice, and to start feeling better from the inside out.

I look forward to meeting you
